Anaphylaxis after Administration of Rocuronium - Case Report -

Abstract

|
52-year-old ASA I female patient admitted at day care center for urinary incontinence. Her past medical history only included hypertension and she had previously undergone surgery due to ectopic pregnancy under general anesthesia 20 years ago without any complication. Immediately after intubation by propofol and rocuronium, she developed severe hypotension and generalized redness. After administration of epinephrine and corticosteroids, her vital sign recovered and surgery was proceeded. She recovered from anesthesia without complication and discharged at the next day.
